Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya has dedicated his team’s recent victory against the Royal Challengers Bangalore to the people of Gujarat to commemorate Gujarat’s foundation day. The team will also be celebrating the momentous occasion at their hotel as Pandya had said that even though the team is not at their home ground, they will mark the celebrations.

The Titans stand on top of the IPL 2022 points table with eight wins from nine matches, and have displayed some great potential in the tournament so far as Pandya’s captaincy has worked very well for the team in their inaugural IPL season.

Pandya, on his social media handles, shared his pictures from seven years ago alongside some recent picutres and thanked all his supporters throughout his journey since 2015. He shared his picture posing with the IPL trophy in the Mumbai Indians jersey and a current picture in the GT jersey celebrating his 100 games in the IPL.

He captioned it: “Dedicating this win to the people of Gujarat. Gujarat Divas ni Hardik Shubhechha (Greetings on Gujarat Day). Grateful for your wishes on reaching 100 IPL games. From a kid playing his 1st IPL match in 2015 to captaining a team in my 100th, it’s a dream come true. Believe in the power of your dreams.”

With the victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Pandya completed his 100th IPL game and he marked it with a victory. With a successful run so far, the Titans have 16 points under their belt as they have almost sealed a birth for the playoffs. Pandya had to miss one of the games due to injury, but in the remaining eight games, the skipper has scored 308 runs with his highest score of an unbeaten 52-ball 87 coming against the Rajasthan Royals.

Pandya has also marked his return as an all-rounder for the side. He did not bowl for a long period due to a back injury, but has played all his roles perfectly with the Titans.
