Delhi Daredevils introduce new practice jersey

The 2017 edition of the Indian Premier League is just a few days away and all teams have started their preparations. Delhi Daredevils have been one of the highly rated teams on paper but have largely failed to impress over the years in the tournament.

This year, the team is desperately seeking a change in fortune in the tournament proper. Whether the fortunes changes or not remains to be seen in the tournament; for the moment they certainly have introduced a change in their franchise.

The franchise has introduced a new training jersey for the upcoming edition of the tournament. The jersey looks pretty much similar to that of the Kings XI Punjab in terms of the color combination. The mid blend color of red and maroon is combined with silver in the practice jerseys, to go with silver shorts. The sponsor logo is printed in white and the team logo embellished on the chest.

The logos of the other sponsors are also strategically placed on the shoulders and the thigh region of the shorts. The jersey is a round neck one and looks just about perfect in the color combination scheme of things. All in all, the verdict for the jersey will definitely be an upvote. Delhi Daredevils are not the first ones to try out a new combination of practice jersey this season.

A couple of days ago, the Kolkata Knight Riders had unveiled their practice jersey which was seen colored on the lines of the color of the Trinbago Knight Riders of the Caribbean Premier League. The owners of both KKR and TKR are the same and hence they opted out for such shuffling in a bid to have brand integration. The other teams have tried out other things to bring about a change in their fortunes. The Rising Pune Supergiant renamed themselves after previously being called as the Rising Pune Supergiants.
