Preview for Dream11 Fantasy
The caravan of 2019 Deodhar Trophy rolls on and the final league-stage match will see India B square off against India A in what should be a riveting encounter at Ranchi.
Both sides have had a great run in the tournament thus far. India B pulled off a comprehensive 108-run-win over India A in the opening encounter and will look to continue with the same against a very good India C unit and seal their place in the finals.
India B’s win was set-up by a commanding batting performance- led by hundreds from opener Ruturaj Gaikwad (113 off 122 balls) and Baba Aparajith (101 off 101 balls); one that led them to an eventual match-winning total of 6-302. The twin hundreds from Gaikwad and Aparajith were ably backed up by left-arm pacer Roosh Kalaria’s 3-20 and Mohammad Siraj’s 2-30, handing them a 108-run victory.
If Gaikwad (113) and Aparajith (101) were the spearheads for India B, it was the duo of Mayank Agarwal (120 off 111 balls) and Shubman Gill (143 off 142 balls) who ruled the roost for India C in their opening encounter and it will essentially be a battle between two batting powerhouses, come Saturday.
It is expected to be partly cloudy at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi on Saturday. According to the weather report, there is a 10 percent chance of rain and the temperatures will hover between 19-26 degrees celsius.
6-302, 3-366. These have been the scores racked up by India B and India C while batting first in their respective games. It is expected to be another high-scoring affair in Ranchi.
Average first innings score: 334 (In two matches in the tournament )
Record of the chasing teams: Won – 0; Lost – 1
