Dinesh Karthik tries to guess Deepika Pallikal's favorite cuisine

Dinesh Karthik and Dipika Pallikal entered wedlock back on August 18, 2015. They decided to keep the wedding a low key-affair with the presence of family and friends. The couple decided to tie the knots according to two traditions- a Christian wedding followed by a Hindu Style Telegu wedding on August 20, 2015. The lovebirds were engaged in 2013.

Both Karthik and Dipika are successful sports-person in their respective fields. Karthik has been a representative in the Indian national cricket team for quite a while. He hasn’t had a smooth run thus far in his career, having made his debut back in 2004 in England, where the conditions weren’t favourable for the batsmen.

Moreover, the emergence of a brilliant wicketkeeper-batsman in MS Dhoni ensured that Karthik was out of contention of Indian selection. Nevertheless, he made a comeback in India’s Test match versus Afghanistan courtesy of Wriddhiman Saha’s injury. Dipika has also been a prominent name in the sports fraternity. She plies her trade in squash, not so much a popular sport in the country.

However, she managed to bring home glory in Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games as well. Recently, the couple went through a question and answer session where both revealed each other’s choices and antics in their personal lives in an interview with Star Sports. At first, Dipika was asked whether Karthik prefers to sing in the shower to which she said, yes.

Both were also asked whether Karthik forgets something in the kit-bag or not, the duo obliged. The last question was asked to Karthik regarding Dipika’s fondness for Japanese cuisine to which the wicketkeeper-batsman stated no. However, it was indeed Dipika’s favourite. The squash-player was a little surprised by the answer and she stared at Karthik with furrowed eyebrows.
