West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has hyped Stephen Fleming as the ‘first best coach’ in the world even surpassing him even over Brendon McCullum. While discussing his short-term ambitions with his franchise St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Bravo gave a shout-out to Stephen Fleming as the best coach. It has to be noted that Bravo was earlier plying his trade with Trinbago Knight Riders and joined Patriots for the upcoming edition of the Caribbean Premier League.

The West Indies great is quite excited about his stint with the Patriots and would be looking to give the club a win within his first two years. Bravo added that he would be keen on giving his new club a win which would be their first-ever. The West Indies cricketer stated that he would lead the team with all the motivation and passion to bring them glory.

“It’s going to be exciting as always. I give myself two years to win one title, so I don’t know if it’s going to be this year or next year, but I can guarantee it’ll be one out of those two years. That’s my aim, that’s my drive and my motivation to try and lead a team that has never won it before. That in itself is my biggest motivating factor,” said Bravo on SENZ Breakfast.

I just want to shout out McCullum, you are the second-best coach: Dwayne Bravo

Bravo also decided to have some on-air banter with McCullum and called him the ‘second-best’ coach in the world giving an edge to Fleming. On the note of CPL, it remains a thing to be seen how the veteran all-rounder would be able to give a boost to his new franchise in the upcoming editions. The 2021 edition of the West Indies T20 league is all set to kick off on August 26 and will be wind up before IPL 2021 UAE leg ie on September 15. All the matches of CPL will take place in St. Kitts and Nevis.

“I just want to shout out (McCullum). Baz, you are the second-best coach in the world, but the first best coach is Stephen Fleming,” said Bravo on air.
