The debate of the all-time best cricketer has been going on forever and the cricket enthusiasts around the world are divided over the same. The likes of Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, Jacques Kallis, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting are few among many whose names come out on top in the discussions. However, the Windies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has revealed the best player according to him and he also believes that the legendary cricketers are special in their own way.

Bravo was recently in India to ply his trade in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He played a pivotal role for the Men in Yellow in the title triumph and played all the 16 matches of the tournament. Moreover, he won the season opener for his team with the bat as well when the chips were down. He was the majorly the death overs bowler for CSK and more often than not did his job to the perfection which worked wonders for his team in the end.

Did Bravo choose Sachin?

Dwayne Bravo recently appeared on the show ‘Bhajji Blast’ which is hosted by none other than his CSk teammate Harbhajan Singh. The Carribean all-rounder had no hesitation in picking Brian Lara as the best batsman ahead of the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. However, he also went on to say that he spent more time with the stylish left-hander and is his idol even believing that these two legends can never be compared.

“For me, I will pick up Brian Lara because he is my hero. For you, it’s Sachin because he is master. I played with Lara more, been around with him more but you cannot discuss these guys. These two are special in their own way. There is nothing to be discussed and compared,” Bravo said during the show.
