It is the IPL time of the year that sees many overseas cricketers spending the entire length of the league in the country. And to add to it, there have been instances in past when stories about linkups of cricketers with Bollywood actresses have become the talk of the town. The story is no different this time even when DJ Bravo was spotted at a Mumbai hotel alongside ‘Inside edge’ actress Natasha Puri.
If the sources are to believed, the couple has been in touch since long as they met for the first time ten years back in India. Recently, they were spotted having coffee together at a Mumbai hotel on Wednesday.
Wishing luck for the season ahead
Natasha took to Instagram to wish her friend all the luck as he begins a new journey this season with his former franchise in Chennai Super Kings. In her caption to the Instagram picture, she wrote, “All the best for #IPL my friend @djbravo47. Shine on!! #dwaynebravo & I have a very funny story about how we first met 10 yrs ago.”
She was also seen in the league opener against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede on April 7 when Bravo played an innings of his life to take his team to the glory. It was DJ’s crucial knock under pressure that helped his team got out of a jail. It was a knock of 68 from 30 deliveries that spring a turnaround for his side, who were returning after serving a ban of two years. He was deservedly awarded the man of the match award.
She was seen cheering for her friend as she later shared on her Instagram story. Natasha even thanked Bravo for the match tickets and the special seats. While sharing her pictures, Natasha Suri wrote, “Go Bravo Go! Played so well last night at the #IPL match between Mumbai Indians & Chennai SuperKings! Totally deserving of the #ManOfTheMatch honour.?????And thank you for the special seats in the box Dwayne! @djbravo47”.
