The Indian Premier League (IPL) entered its new decade of entertainment and thrills in the most celebratory and dynamic fashion. The eleventh edition proceeding started with remarkable and ravishing opening ceremony which featured some sparkling and charismatic performances from the Bollywood stars and other popular personalities from the entertainment industry highlighted the event.

Then the on-field expedition was equally fantastic and a competitive contest between two quality sides, out of which the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opened their account with a win against the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede stadium, due to the scintillating knock played by all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.

Tamannaah charging a hefty amount for performance

Many famous and starring Bollywood personalities performed in the opening ceremony of the IPL 2018, which included celebratory names like Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Hrithik Roshan, Tamannaah, singer Mika Singh and some other big persons also joined hands to enlighten this whole cricket carnival.

According to some reports, Bollywood actress Tamannaah who delivered an exceptional show on the stage is said to be charging INR 50 lakhs for her act, which continued to close to five minutes. Earlier it was learned, that her Bollywood co-star Varun Dhawan is the highest paid performer at this year’s opening ceremony event, as he is earning a massive amount INR 6 crores for his work.

However, the Southern Bollywood beauty surely delivered an absolutely outstanding and a gem of a performance and none of the people seated in the stadium or the fans could not believe that the young Bollywood diva was actually hitting the stage for the first time in a sports event.
