West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is one of the very few players who haven’t limited their forte only to cricket. 36-year-old Bravo has also stepped into the music industry and has released several tracks including the much famous ‘Champion’ song.

Bravo is currently working on a new project and the former West Indies skipper has revealed that the track is going to be dedicated to none other than India stalwart MS Dhoni. The former Indian skipper has been an indispensable part of Chennai Super Kings, the franchise which Bravo has also been a vital part. After joining CSK in 2011, Bravo has delivered several match-winning performances with both the ball and the bat.

As a tribute to the veteran, Bravo revealed that he is planning to release ‘Mahi Song’ on MS Dhoni’s birthday on July 7. The track is being composed and written by Bravo and he had even shared a glimpse of the song on his social media back in April.

“Just to keep my fans updated on @mahi7781 song!! #7 as you’ll requested the plan is to release this song on his birthday!!” Bravo said in an Instagram post.

“Also we have a new dance!! It’s called the Helicopter ?? pls tag me your version of the helicopter ?? dance and I will pick out the best dance and make it the official Dance for MS!!” he added.

I want to do something for Dhoni: Dwayne Bravo

Bravo had said he wanted to ‘do something special’ for Dhoni, who has had a big impact on quite a few players’ careers, including his career during their stint at CSK.

“The Mahi song… I haven’t completed the entire track as yet. I still want to work on the music and some other lyrics I want to put in there. I was thinking…there is not anyone who has done a song as a tribute to one particular athlete. I was coming up with ideas,” Bravo had told Harsha Bhogle during ‘Cricbuzz in Conversation’ chat show.

“I want to do something for him. He is coming to the end of his career. He had a great career. He had a great impact on my personal career and also so many other cricketers. I wanted to do something special for him. I named the song No. 7. It’s his number. It’s a special number for him,” he had added.
