During IPL 2018, KL Rahul, who played for Kings XI Punjab was spotted trolling RCB in a video alongside his teammate Karun Nair, shouting ‘Ee sala cup namde guru’. And, this year he himself got trolled by Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal in a similar-looking situation.

Indian Premier League is one of the highly competitive cricket leagues across the globe and it has also ignited a small but friendly rivalry between the cricketers of the same nation. The same goes for Indian cricketers, who give their best in IPL in order to make their franchise win the title.

Chahal’s funny comment on KL Rahul Instagram live

In the 2018 season, after KXIP registered a thumping victory over Kolkata Knight Riders at their fortress the Eden Gardens, the team players of Kings were in a complete party mood. With emotions flowing in the veins, Rahul and Karun, the former players of  Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) recorded a video in which the duo was spotted shouting, “Ee sala cup namde”,  and its meaning is “Cup is ours this year”. It happened to be the tagline of RCB in that season as well.

Recently, KL Rahul came live through his Instagram account in order to have a chat with his fans. In between the video, Chahal came out of now where, and commented in a hilarious fashion taking a jibe on his Indian cricket teammate, and wrote, “Ee sala cup namde,”

However, in that season, Kings finished at 6th spot whereas RCB ended their campaign on 8th position. Moreover, both the teams have never lifted the IPL trophy since their commencement.

For KXIP, the best season came back in 2014 when they reached the finals but lost to KKR in a close encounter. Whereas RCB reached thrice to the finals i.e- 2009, 2011 and 2016 yet failed to win the finals on all the occasions in order to lift their maiden title trophy.

The preparations for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League have begun. Also, the auction for IPL 2020 is just 36 days away from its commencement that is scheduled to take place in Kolkata. Currently, Chahal and Rahul are enjoying their time after winning a competitive T20I series against Bangladesh.
