India is locking horns with England on day three of the Leeds Test. Though India is trailing far behind in the game, ace batsman Rohit Sharma gave a moment to smile for all the Indian fans. As day three of the Test started up, Indian opening pair Sharma and Rahul took up the field after England folded their innings.
Sharma played a delivery by Ollie Robinson in an unbelievable manner and sent it over the boundary making it an impressive six. During the 15.3 over in India’s second innings, the ball by Robinson was little short outside off stumps and Sharma jumped a little looking to give an uppercut. However, the bounce and carry in the ball pushed it to clear ropes. Fans wondered if Sharma could hit six without a pull shot too.

Talking about the second innings of India, Rohit Sharma seemed well settled with KL before the latter had to just leave before the lunch of day three in Leeds. India is currently trailing by 320 runs and has a lot of work to do to make the match respectable for them.
England is on top so far in the third Test at Headingley
Talking about the match so far, India got wrapped on mere 78 runs in the first innings and visiting batters failed to get going on day one of the game. Ace pacer James Anderson took charge of the bowling department and sent back India’s top order back to the pavilion in no time. All big names like KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli failed to make a mark.
While England came back to bat in the first innings, their top order looked all ready to get something big. All the four batters at least got a half-century to their name where their leader Joe Root converted his score into a substantial century. Root is currently looking in a different touch wherein he has already smashed three centuries in three games. England posted massive 432 runs on the board to make their case stronger.
