Fast bowling is an art and the ones who do it unite over certain specialties. The bouncers are one of the key weapons in their armory and the team England bowlers certainly love it too. The English team managed to register their first win on the India tour recently. Albeit they lost the ODI series 2-1, they managed to take the winning momentum in the T20I series.

The first of the three T20Is begins on January 26 at Kanpur. The England team has arrived at the venue and are sweating it out big time to get their act together. They have roped in T20 specialists in their side to help them get an extra edge in the series. One such T20 specialist is left-arm pacer Tymal Mills.

Mills is renowned for clocking speeds close to 150 kmph and has been plying his trade for various teams in the different T20 leagues. Recently, he was a part of the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League. Prior to that, he had given his services to the Chittagong Vikings in the Bangladesh Premier League. The 24-year old had made his T20I debut for England last year against Sri Lanka.

Now, he hopes to impress the critics with good show in India and also get an IPL contract subsequently. In a recent tweet video uploaded by Test Match Special, Mills is seen bowling quick bouncers in the net sessions. He bowls an absolute ripper to get Jake Ball down in the nets. In a conversation though, he mentions that he moderates his bouncers and does not bowl too many of them. The English bowlers went gaga about the video and were seen commenting to one another in their ‘bowlers union’.

Allrounder Ben Stokes was the first to comment as he wrote, “Bowlers union gone out the window.” Stuart Broad, the veteran England pace bowler, had ‘no words’ about the video. Tymal Mills was quick to introspect and accept that it was a self imposed fine given. Ben Stokes then replied back saying that it was self evaluation of the highest level. Steven Finn, who is yet to get a game on the tour, had no words but expressions for the entire scene. Clearly, the English camp looks afresh with friendly chats on the social media. The shortest format promises to bring in a lot of action for sure.
