England v Australia, 3rd ODI – 5 Talking Points: After a thumping victory in the first two ODIs, it was the time for Australians to enforce a series win. As it happened, it was England’s turn in the third ODI to make a point. Winning the toss, England opted to bat first in the test. They did make a brilliant point with the bat and they managed to score a total of 300 runs on the board. This was influenced by a stern and sensible innings from James Taylor.

In reply, the Australians did make a brilliant start to the chase but failed to capitalize. But with a disastrous middle order collapse, Australia were derailed to the chase. And they were bundled at the score of 207 runs. This resulted in a 93 runs victory for England.

1. Superb century from James Taylor:

After being 2 down at the score of 86 runs, the English innings was settled by James Taylor and Eoin Morgan. Taylor was indeed sensible enough and did take the English innings to a settled position by a calm century. He smashed 101 runs off 114 deliveries with the aid of 5 fours. This helped England to pose a total of 300 runs on the board.

2. Game Changing Partnership between Morgan and Taylor:
