Pakistan bagged a consolation win against the hosts England only to avoid the whitewash in the final game of the 5-match ODI series. After conceding the Super Series with the 4th straight loss in the previous game, Pakistan did a great job to chase down the 303-run target. Earlier, England posted 302/9 in their 50 overs, which was certainly 20 runs shorter to the circumstances they were before the last 10 overs. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.

0 – Number of times England affected a whitewash in a 5 or more match bilateral ODI series at home. Their wait continues.

1 – For the first time in ODIs, Pakistan chased down a 300+ target successfully in ODIs outside Asia. Their previous highest chase outside Asia was 296 vs Sri Lanka in 1998.

6 – This is the 6th time Pakistan has successfully chased down a 300+ total in ODIs. Only 3 teams chased 300+ more often in ODIs.

7 – This match is only the 7th instance of both teams scoring 300+ in an ODI without an individual century.

12 – Number of times since January 2015 England batted 50 overs while batting first in ODIs. They scored 300+ on 11 of the 12 instances.

70 – Runs conceded by Liam Dawson in this game, the most by an England player on ODI debut. David Lawrence conceded 67 runs in 11 overs on his debut in 1991 vs West Indies at Lord’s.

153 – Runs scored by Imad Wasim in this series without getting dismissed, these are the 4th most for a player batting at No.7 or lower without getting out even once in an ODI series.

300 – Runs scored by Sarfraz Ahmed in this series, he became the first Pakistan keeper to aggregate 300 runs in an ODI series/tournament. These are also most runs by a keeper in a bilateral ODI series in England.
