MS Dhoni might not have got chance to free his arms in the two matches India won in the series, he did create a record in each of the three games of this series. In the Manchester T20I, Dhoni affected two stumping of successive balls to break Kamran Akmal’s (32) record for most stumpings in T20I cricket. The Cardiff T20I was Dhoni’s 500th International game making him the first wicketkeeper to achieve the milestone.

In the final T20I, MS Dhoni pouched five catches to become the first player (keeper/fielder) to take five catches in a single innings in this format. He is the 2nd keeper after Mohammad Shahzad (3 ct & 2 st against Oman, 2015) to claim five dismissals in a T20I. Dhoni also became the first keeper to take 50 catches in this format during the game in Bristol.
