The first ODI between England and India at Trent Bridge in Nottingham is currently underway. The visitors won the toss and elected to field first. The Brits began well with a healthy partnership of 73 from 10.2 overs between Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow. However, Kuldeep Yadav removed Roy in the 11th over to give the Men in Blue their first and much-needed breakthrough.

Kuldeep picked up Joe Root and Bairstow to put the skids under England. Yuzvendra Chahal removed Eoin Morgan to jolt the home team further. The batsman wanted to work the leather past mid-wicket, but ended up playing the stroke way too early. Suresh Raina didn’t make any mistake in taking the catch. Glenn Maxwell, the Australian all-round cricketer is also watching the match.

Maxwell sees Neymar in Chahal

In one moment of the contest, Chahal was seen crouching on the turf, holding his knee with a smile of grimace on his face. The antic reminded Maxwell of a certain Brazilian footballer by the name of Neymar, who had been on the center of attraction for his actions during this year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia. The incident panned out during Brazil’s round of 16 match against Mexico.

Brazil won the match by 2-0 and Neymar scored in the 51st minute to give his team its first goal. In the dying stages of the encounter, he tried to tackle Miguel Layun and then the Paris Saint-Germain forward threw himself on the ground and acted as if he had injured his leg.

The same was deemed to be a tactic to waste time and not give enough time for Mexico to make a comeback. Neymar’s act was also bashed by the supporters. Maxwell posted Chahal’s picture on Instagram and compared his action with that of Neymar’s.

Here is Maxwell’s post
