Team India is currently playing the only warm-up game against Essex ahead of the upcoming five-match Test series. They have a huge fan following and it is no surprise as the Stadium was almost half filled even for the inconsequential game to watch the superstars play in Chelmsford. A five-year-old girl was present at the ground as well who had come to meet her hero and the Indian captain Virat Kohli.

The girl was brought to the Stadium by her father and was expecting for Kohli to meet her as this was the greatest chance for her to see him. She is the huge fan of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) only because of him and was willing to meet the Indian skipper on Wednesday.

Even the security guards were kind enough to take the girl close to Kohli twice. But unfortunately, she was ignored by him on both the occasions as she waited for hours for her hero to come and visit. The 29-year-old went past her and clearly ignored despite the security officer asked him to stop for her.

Bumrah enters

Jasprit Bumrah, however, noticed the girl’s will to meet Virat Kohli and made her day by meeting her in person. Her father is a huge Mumbai Indians (MI) fan and the fast bowler gifted him a cap. The little girl’s father posted all the updates about the incidents on his Twitter handle which named ‘@_stvros’ and thanked Bumrah from the bottom of his heart for his gesture.

However, he was extremely disappointed with the fact that Virat Kohli ignored his daughter who waited for hours to meet him and the superstar didn’t turn up even once. Though Bumrah won the heart of everyone around with his gestures and made the adorable girl happy. It would’ve been nice on Kohli’s part if he had spare some time for her at least after being dismissed.

Here is the series of tweets from the girl’s father:
