Former India captain MS Dhoni enjoyed his time off from cricket in a variety of ways. He spent time with the Indian armed forces in Kashmir and then took off for holidays in Dubai, before returning to the country to ring in the New Year with family in Ranchi. The man is currently working on a return to the competitive cricket, as he was seen having a net session at JSCA stadium.

Dhoni has not been part of the Indian team ever since they were eliminated from the 2019 World Cup in the semi-finals by New Zealand and he was run out for 50 ending Men in Blue’s hopes of a miracle win. He then took a sabbatical missing the subsequent series against West Indies and home series against South Africa, Bangladesh, West Indies, and Australia. He was even removed from BCCI’s list of centrally contracted players when the recent list was unveiled for the current season.

Meanwhile, Dhoni was seen zooming on the roads of Ranchi in various automobiles he owns. Widely known as a vehicle-aficionado, the Jharkhand-born Indian cricketer owns a variety of cars, power vehicles, SUVs and a host of motorbikes. He has also constructed a separate house or garage to display his collection which can be viewed from outside, given the mirrors that adorn the whole building.

As per some reports, MS Dhoni owns several high-end vehicles including Ferrari 599 GTO, Hummer H2, the GMC Sierra when it comes to four-wheelers. When it comes to two-wheelers, Dhoni’s collection sees bikes like Kawasaki Ninja H2, Confederate Hellcat, BSA, Suzuki Hayabusa, and a Norton Vintage and several other bikes.

Meanwhile, a BCCI official clarified that Dhoni missing from the central contract list of the Indian board has nothing to do with his form and has to do with his long leave from the game and is on a technical basis. “Let me clarify that one of the top-most BCCI office-bearers spoke to MS and told him about how they are going about in the central contracts. He was clearly told that since he hasn’t played any game in the said period (September 2019 till date), he cannot be included for the time being,” the official was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
