Australia, on the other hand, started their innings fantastically, amassing 57 runs for the opening stand. The match was just a formality from there on, and it was done away by the pair of Ellyse Perry and Beth Mooney, who remained unbeaten and won their team the match by eight wickets in less than 15 overs.
