Australia (AUS) will be hosting South Africa (SA) in the third and final Test match at Sydney Cricket Ground starting on January 3. Australia won the Boxing Day match to secure the 2-0 series win in a three-match Test series at home. Cameron Green took five wickets to bowl out South Africa on just 189 runs in their first innings with Kyle Verreynne and Marco Jansen scoring half-centuries. Then Australia posted a huge 575/8 total in their first innings with David Warner smashing 200 runs and Alex Carey scoring 111 runs.
In the second innings, South African batters struggled again and managed to score only 204 runs to suffer a heavy defeat by an innings and 182 runs. Temba Bavuma scored the highest 65 runs for the Proteas while Nathan Lyon took three wickets in the second innings. South Africa have won three of their last five Test matches against Australia but the latter's form makes them favorites to win this final match of this series as well.

The star Australian batter has managed to score only 30 runs from three innings in this series but remains the world's no.1 Test batter in the ICC chart. He smashed three big hundreds against West Indies in the previous Test series and remains Australia's key batter.
Steve Smith AUS | BAT
The star batter scored 85 runs off 161 balls in the first innings of the last match and has been in excellent form across formats lately. He ranks third in the current ICC Test Batter's chart and will be a safe captaincy choice on the Dream11 Team for this fixture.
David Warner AUS | BAT
