Chattogram Challengers (CCH) will lock horns with Rangpur Riders (RAN) in the 27th match of the Bangladesh Premier League 2024 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on February 10. Chattogram Challengers have won five games of their seven and are in second place while Rangpur Riders too have a similar record but due to better net run-rate, they are placed at the top of the table.

Chattogram Challengers had played against Fortune Barishal in their last encounter where Fortune Barishal won the toss and elected to field. Challengers started cautiously but increased their scoring rate after the end of the batting powerplay. Fifty from Tom Bruce helped them reach a decent total of 145 at the loss of five wickets on a slow track. Barishal started slow and further kept on getting worse as they kept losing wickets in a bunch. By the end of the innings, they had lost eight wickets and could only score 129 runs, losing the game by 16 runs.

Rangpur Riders had played against Durdanto Dhaka in their last encounter where Durdanto Dhaka won the toss and elected to field. Riders had a brilliant day on the field as their batters looked in great rhythm. Almost every batter scored well and a complete team’s effort made them reach a strong total of 175 runs. Dhaka, in return, was abysmal in their batting performance. Saim Ayub was the only batter who could put up a significant score but others just kept losing their wickets. They were bowled out for 115 and lost the game by 60 runs.
