Similar to Qualifier 1, the Riders did not start well and lost three wickets in the powerplay. Neesham could not put his charm this time around but Shamim played a good knock of 59 which helped them post 149 runs on the board. Barishal did not start off too well either but Rahim who came to bat at four stood his ground from one end. He made good partnerships with other batters to take his team over the line and won the game by six wickets.
