England and Australia will play the 26th match of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Friday (October 28) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. Both of the teams have not had a campaign so far that they would have hoped for. England lost their last game against Ireland by five runs based on the DLS method. They are placed in the third position in the points table and need to win the remaining matches to qualify for the semi-final with ease.
Australia, on the other hand, started their campaign with a loss against New Zealand. However, they did thrash Sri Lanka in the last game by seven wickets after chasing a target of 158 runs in just 16.3 overs.
