Chandigarh were off to a flyer as their batters scored at a brilliant run rate. Gaurav Tomar and Puneet Kumar scored the most for the team and took the match away from their opponents. They posted a humongous total of 229 runs for the loss of four wickets. The total was too huge to be chased down, but Patna still tried and could not maintain the fast-paced required run rate. They were bundled out for a score of 138 runs, and Chandigarh won the match by 91 runs.
