They had fantastic back-to-back partnerships, which helped them amass a huge total of 120 runs on the board. To chase down such a huge total, the Skiers needed to start well but were reduced to 23 for three. Although the middle order did score some runs, it proved to be too little too late, as they lost the game by 33 runs.

No Mans Land Explorers played against Pirates Bay Raiders in their last game, where Pirates Bay Raiders won the toss and elected to bat. In an attempt to start aggressively, the Pirates lost early wickets, which put them in the backfoot. They further lost wickets and had to slow down a little, but some late flourish towards the end helped them reach an average total of 79 runs. The Explorers had a horrible start, losing both their openers on ducks and losing three more wickets in quick succession. They could never recover from this setback and lost the game by a close margin of eight runs.
