Mumbai Women will take on Andhra Women in the Pre Quarter-Final 2 of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2023 on Friday (November 3) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Mumbai finished in second place in Group C with five wins in six games. Andhra also won five out of six matches and finished in second place in Group E.
Mumbai defeated Mizoram in their last game by a huge margin of 120 runs. They posted 171 runs for the loss of two wickets in 20 overs while batting first. The openers, Vrushali Bhagat and Jemimah Rodrigues, scored a half-century each. Mizoram could make only 51 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Only two batters managed to make a double-digit score. Fatima Jaffer was the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai and picked four wickets for eight runs in four overs.
Andhra defeated Nagaland in their last group stage game by six wickets after chasing down the target of 103 runs in 16.4 overs. Bareddy Anusha picked three wickets for 12 runs in four overs for Andhra.
