Pakistan (PAK) will be up against Bangladesh (BAN) in the Super Fours, 1st Match of the Asia Cup 2023 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on September 6. Pakistan has played two matches so far where they won one and were at the top of the table in Group A. Bangladesh, on the other hand, has played two matches where they have won and lost a match each and are in the second position in Group B.
Pakistan had squared off against India in their last match, where India won the toss and elected to bat. Indian innings had a decent start but was interrupted by the rain. The break worked wonders for Pakistan as they scalped three wickets in quick succession after it, including the likes of Rohit, Kohli, and Iyer. Gill was taken away by Rauf soon, and India looked in trouble, but the pair of Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya not only steadied the ship but put them in the driving position. India finished with 266 runs on board, but the second innings could not resume due to rain, so the match ended with no result.
Bangladesh (BAN) had played against Afghanistan in their last match, where Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat. Making the most out of a batting track, Bangladesh started on a high and kept going above and beyond. Mehidy and Shanto both brought up their centuries, respectively. A brilliant finish towards the end meant every box was ticked in the first innings, and they put up a huge total of 334 runs. Afghanistan was a little slow from the start despite having a couple of good partnerships. In the latter half of the innings, they kept losing wickets and were bowled out for 245, losing the match by 89 runs.

Player Picks
Babar Azam PAK | BAT
Azam got to bat just once in the tournament so far and made the most out of it. He had smashed a beautiful century against Nepal and can be the one to lead your team.
Shaheen Afridi PAK | BOWL
Shaheen has been sensational in the tournament, scalping as many as six wickets at an economy of 4.13 in two matches. His regularity makes him a great option to lead as well.
Shakib Al Hasan BAN | ALL
Shakib, as usual, has been doing a good job in fulfilling the role of a true all-rounder. He has scalped two wickets in two matches where he has scored 37 runs.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Mohammad Nawaz
PAK | ALL
Nawaz has failed to impress anyone with his sloppy performances so far. He can be left out of your fantasy team.
Agha Salman
PAK | BAT
Salman has been able to score just five runs so far and did not look too great. He can be left out of your fantasy side.
