Pakistan Under-19 will be up against Sri Lanka Under-19 in the 4th Youth ODI of the Sri Lanka Under-19s tour of Pakistan at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi on October 29. The series is positioned well but Pakistan have the advantage having won two of the three matches so far. Both these teams would be eyeing victory here, Pakistan to seal the series while Sri Lanka to make a comeback.

Both these teams squared off against each other in the last match which was the third Youth ODI match of this series at the same venue where Sri Lanka Under-19s won the toss and elected to bat. On a good batting track, they started well and had a decent opening partnership. However, then they lost two wickets on successive deliveries which caused some unrest but was handled well by Rusanda Gamage with his century. A well-made half-century towards the end by wicketkeeper Sharujan made the team finish with a good total of 289 runs on the board.

In reply, Pakistan did not back away from such a total and was off to a good start as well. Similar to their opponents, they lost two wickets on successive deliveries as well but the chase was handled well before it could have been worse. Opener Shamyl Hussain and Riaz Ullah, who came to bat at four, had a brilliant partnership of 153 runs which set the course of the run chase. Shamyl went on to score 150 runs off just 109 deliveries, hence easily winning the match for his team by six wickets.
