France had a forgettable on the field with the bat as they could neither score runs nor keep their wickets. Only Marie Violleu could play a decent knock of 38 runs, and it helped France reach a total of 83 runs. The Netherlands were fantastic with the bat right from the start, and they were in a hurry as they chased down the total in just eight overs and won the match by eight wickets.
