Scotland (SCO) are set to face United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the eighth match of the T20 World Cup Warm-Up 2022 tournament at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Thursday. Scotland beat Netherlands in their first warm-up game by 18 runs. United Arab Emirates lost their first warm-up clash against West Indies but put up some impressive displays. The experienced pacer Junaid Siddique took five wickets while conceding just 13 runs to restrict West Indies to only 152/9 while bowling first. Muhammad Waseem scored an unbeaten 69 runs off 52 balls and Zawar Farid smashed 29 runs off 14 balls but UAE failed 17 runs short in their chase. UAE have won the only T20I game played against Scotland and are favorites to win again on Thursday.
