Sri Lanka (SL) will be hosting Ireland (IRE) in the second Test match at Galle International Stadium starting on April 24. Sri Lanka won the first match to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series at home. Four Sri Lankan batters recorded centuries, including 179 runs from skipper Dimuth Karunaratne, to post a big total of 591/6 in the first innings while batting first. Wicketkeeper batter Lorcan Tucker top-scored with 45 off 73, while Harry Tector added 34 runs. Ireland's second innings collapsed on just 168 runs to suffer a heavy defeat by an inning and 280 runs. Tector top-scored with 42 runs for Ireland, while Ramesh Mendis took four wickets for Sri Lanka.
