Sydney Thunder Women (ST-W) will clash against Perth Scorchers Women (PS-W) in the seventh match of the Women's Big Bash League 2022 (WBBL) tournament at Blacktown International Sportspark in Sydney on Sunday (October 16). Sydney Thunder started this season's campaign with a big defeat against Hobart Hurricanes in their first match. Perth Scorchers topped the group stage table and won the last edition of the tournament with a brilliant all-round display. They have drafted in star international player Maddy Green to replace Sri Lankan ledend Chamari Athapaththu and Australian pacer Holly Ferling in place of Heather Graham for this season. Perth Scorchers have won three of their last five matches against the Thunder and are favorites to win again in their opening clash this season.
