They had a decent start to their innings, and an excellent finish by Ben Charlesworth helped Gloucestershire post a total of 195 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Robin Das played a blistering knock of 69 runs off 33 deliveries and took Essex over the line with five deliveries remaining.
