West Indies (WI) will lock horns with Oman (OMN) in the 7th match of the Super Sixes round of the ICC World Cup Qualifier 2023 at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on July 5. West Indies have lost all their three matches so far and are in the fifth position. Oman, on the other hand, have lost all their four games and are languishing at the bottom of the table.
Oman had played against the Netherlands in their last match, where Oman won the toss and elected to field. The Netherlands made the most of the belter of the track, which was available and smashed 362 runs on the board. Vikramjit Singh reached his fantastic ton and was adjudged Player of the Match for his innings. Wesley Baressi also played brilliant knocks of 97 runs but missed out on his well-deserved century. Rain interrupted play, and the revised target was 321 runs from 44 overs. Ayaan Khan scored a beautiful century, but it went in vain as others could not pitch in, and the Netherlands won the match by 74 runs (DLS Method).
West Indies had squared off against Scotland in their last match, where Scotland won the toss and elected to bowl. West Indies did not start the innings as they would have liked to, losing four wickets just at the score of 30. Their lower middle order did try and score some runs but were still bowled out for a below-par score of 181 runs. Scotland lost their first wicket early but had a beautiful second-wicket partnership to compensate. They lost just three wickets in the process and chased down the score with more than six overs. Brandon McMullen was awarded Player of the Match for his contributions with the bat as well as the ball.

Player Picks
Ayaan Khan OMN | BAT
Ayaan has been performing exceedingly well at both fronts. He has mustered 285 runs and three wickets in six matches, and could be a great choice for the captaincy role.
Nicholas Pooran WI | WK
Pooran has been the most consistent batter of his team and has smashed 317 runs in five matches which include two brilliant centuries. He can also be of use behind the stumps.
Jason Holder WI | ALL
Holder has been effective with the bat as well as ball amassing 144 runs and six wickets in five games. He could become a great leader for your fantasy side.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Rovman Powell
WI | BAT
Powell has been able to score just 30 runs so far playing in three matches. He should not find a place in your fantasy team.
Shamarh Brooks
WI | BAT
Brooks has been a part of this team for two matches where he was able to score just 25 runs in total. He should be dropped from your team.
