In the third and final T20I of the Sri Lanka tour of the West Indies 2026, West Indies (WI) are set to face Sri Lanka (SL). After losing the ODI series, West Indies won the first T20I by seven wickets, successfully chasing a target of 148 runs. Then Sri Lanka made a comeback and won the second T20I by 37 runs and levelled the series 1-1.
Sri Lanka batted first and posted a total of 194 runs in 20 overs, with Kamil Mishara (61* off 40) and Dasun Shanaka (58 off 24) providing firepower in the middle order. Pathum Nissanka (25 off 21) and Kusal Mendis (12 off 8) gave the innings a strong start.
In response, the West Indies were bowled out for 157 runs in 18.1 overs and lost the match by 37 runs. Rovman Powell scored 43 and Shimron Hetmyer smashed 36 but was unable to chase down the target. In the bowling department, Dushmantha Chameera and Wanindu Hasaranga each took three wickets.
