India and Zimbabwe will face each other one last time in the three-match T20I series on Sunday, July 26. The third T20I is scheduled to be played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, which was also the venue for the first two matches.
Zimbabwe have already lost the series after suffering heavy defeats in the first two matches. India won the first T20I by seven wickets, chasing a 126-run target in just 13.2 overs. In the second T20I, India posted a mammoth 219/5 before blowing away the Chevrons for just 129 in 17.5 overs to register a comprehensive 90-run victory.
The third T20I is inconsequential as the series has already been decided. However, India would want to finish on a high and clean sweep the hosts after suffering back-to-back series T20I defeats against Ireland and England ahead of this tour. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, would want to give their fans something to cheer for.
