Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag is not a new name for the cricket fans. His heroics on the cricket field are very well known to all his fans. The way Sehwag tormented the bowlers in his playing days was an absolute nightmare for the opposition. Be it on the field or off the field, Sehwag is never short on entertainment. Even after his retirement, he has managed to be in the news time and again.

Over the last year, Virender Sehwag has become an internet sensation owing to his hilarious tweets. He is renowned for his witty digs at his fellow cricketers and sarcasm-filled takes on the current trends. He uses pun to perfection in trolling everyone alike. Recently, he was at his work yet again.

Sehwag tried to troll a news media website but ended up getting trolled. It all perspired when a news media website, named Emirates 24|7, reported a new about MS Dhoni. The UAE based website reported a news regarding Virat Kohli replacing MS Dhoni as the Indian team captain. However, the website committed an error as they posted a picture of Sushant Singh Rajput in place of Dhoni.

Incidentally, Sushant Singh Rajput had played the titular role in the MS Dhoni biopic. Hence, the mistake from the website is understandable for a moment. Virender Sehwag took very little time in trying to troll them. He took to social media and posted a picture of his look alike. He mentioned that he hopes the Emirates people do not let somebody else get to the flight in place of him.

Here is the catch of the story. Sehwag thought that it was Emirates Airlines and tweeted the picture to the website thinking it was Emirates Airlines. Sehwag had tweeted, “.@Emirates247 I am flying with you in a while , hope you don’t allow him to board instead of me.”

The official Emirates airlines were quick to respond back. They mentioned that they know who Virender Sehwag is and will definitely not make a mistake in boarding somebody else. They tweeted, “@virendersehwag No worries, we’ve got your back. We look forward to your next flight with us. @Emirates247”
