The former Indian captain was also no exception and was believed to be in a relationship with Bollywood actress Asin Thttumkal first. Later on, he also dated another actress Raai Laxmi for a brief period of time. Presently, MS Dhoni is married to Sakshi and this pair also has a daughter.

Rumours about the relationship between Mahi and Asin first surfaced after some close proximity between the duo during an ad shoot for a fashion brand. The two used to enjoy their company as was evident from the fact that they were spotted together many a time. The winds of them being in a relationship grew even stronger when Dhoni was seen coming out from Asin’s home in Lokhandwala, Mumbai in 2010. However, the relationship didn’t last long and the couple separated soon after.

Mahi was also in a relationship with Raai Laxmi in 2008. The two met in 2008 when Dhoni along with Suresh Raina came to attend her birthday party. Laxmi also said that she would have married the former Indian captain if he proposed to her. “I knew him really well and don’t know if I can call it a relationship because it never worked out. We still have respect for each other. He has moved on and gotten married. That’s the end of the story. I am a very happy person right now and work is my priority,” she confessed later on after their breakup.

Also, Dhoni reportedly had a huge crush on dimple beauty Deepika Padukone. The media got enough fodder for gossip after Dhoni invited Deepika for a T20 match against Australia. Further, Deepika also accepted the invitation. But, nothing much transpired after that.
