Jos Buttler, in the 2013 Champions Trophy final, got out for a duck against India, getting bamboozled by a peach from Ravindra Jadeja. Ever since he’s grown profusely in stature and he is most certainly the best finisher in the world right now. He is a crucial player for them across all the format and there is no question why he cannot fit into the Indian team.

India were finding it difficult to choose a proper backup for MS Dhoni considering his back issues. If Buttler was to be available for selection, no coach or selector would have second thoughts and would rope him into the side. Rather Buttler can play as a proper batsman with Dhoni also in the side and make the difference in almost every game.
