Former cricketer and All India Panel Umpire Dharam Vir Pathak found missing
The son looks in a deep anxious state to get any possible traces of his missing old father.

Dharam Vir Pathak, who is a former Ranji Trophy cricketer and also an umpire from the All India Panel is reportedly missing from several days. The 83-year old cricketer had last been seen leaving his house in Delhi at 6:00 am on August 18 and since then he has not returned back home. The former cricketer’s family is also very much worried as his son, Kapil Pathak has tried everything to search his father who has many medical problems due to his age.
We were all sleeping when he left the house
Kapil mentioned that the other members of the family were all asleep when his father left the society in the morning and has not returned home since then. He stated that the missing complaint has already been filed with the Delhi Police. The veteran cricketer has played 10 Ranji Trophy games in which he has represented both Southern Punjab and Delhi, before taking up the umpiring responsibilities in the latter part of his career.
“We were all sleeping when he left the house and since then he has not returned home. The missing complaint has already been registered with the police,” said Kapil in a conversation with the media reporter from Delhi.
He was suffering from some memory loss problems
The former cricketer’s son noted in his interview that his father was suffering from some memory loss problem for which he was also taking the necessary medications. He stated that his father is still quite a keen follower of the game and was reading the newspaper which highlighted India’s performance in the recent Test match in England, before leaving the house.
“He has some memory loss problem and is under medication. But it is not a very serious memory loss. Whatever he forgets can recollect soon afterward. He did read the newspaper and remembered India’s recent performance against England,” he added.
He also mentioned that his father is not carrying his wallet with him which contains his address and identity proof when he left the house. The son looks in a deep anxious state to get any possible traces of his missing old father any time soon.
“Sadly he has not carried his wallet with him and there is no address or identity proof in his pocket,” concluded the former cricketer’s son.
