India registered an emphatic win over West Indies in the 2nd ODI by a margin of 107 runs. The hosts have successfully managed to bring down the three-match series to level. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul turned out to be the main heroes in Team India’s convincing victory. But, one thing that attracted the sight of the many fans was the celebration of KL Rahul after scoring his third ODI ton. Twitter started creating some hilarious memes over it in no time.

In 2nd ODI, Kieron Pollard won the toss and elected to field first as his plan was to restrict Team India to a nominal score that his side can easily chase down against the inexperienced bowling line up. However, that never looked the case as the in-form Indian openers Rohit Sharma (159 off 138 balls) and KL Rahul (102 off 104 balls) played at their helm best smashing the visitor’s bowlers all across the park. The duo stitched a commendable partnership of 227 runs for the first wicket.

The Indian bowling unit also came out with a brilliant effort in Vishakhapatnam that helped Team India in winning the crucial encounter against West Indies. Even, the out-of-form Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav also looked in rhythm after a long time, who took a brilliant hat-trick in the 2nd ODI.

In the early phase of the innings, Rahul looked quite nervous and was struggling to play the stroke. But, as soon he got into the rhythm, he started smashing the bowlers for boundaries and sixes. He completed his century in style by hitting a four on a loose delivery bowled by Alzarri Joseph.

It is well known in cricket that after scoring a ton usually, batsman raises their bat towards the spectators to show their triumph. But, KL Rahul took a hilarious route to celebrate his third ODI ton and was seen putting his fingers over his ears.

After playing an influential knock, Ian Bishop asked Rahul about his unique celebration. In reply to it, the Karnataka batsman said that he wants to keep it a mystery. “I’ll let the celebration stay a mystery,” the young Indian opener said on the sideline of the ground. The fans found Rahul’s celebration quite funny, who started giving it a hilarious angle on social media.
