The name of the Super Over Girl is Riana Lalwani.

Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) were involved one of the best games ever played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday. For the first time in the history of T20 cricket, two Super Overs were played to determine the winner. The fans were on the edge of their seats throughout the game and it was one of the best displays of skills from the players too.

Despite the game being played without spectators, there are a few lucky fans who are attending the spectators probably on behalf of the franchises while maintaining the required social distancing. And during the nail biting encounter, the cameraman spotted a girl who has become a social media sensation now.

She was constantly shown on the big screen for her various expressions during the ups and downs in the match and even some of the social media gimmicks have created some hilarious memes on her.

Riana Lalwani – The IPL Super Over girl

The Super Over girl who is trending at the moment, her name is Riana Lalwani and she seems to be enjoying all the attention she is getting. She was supporting KXIP as she was cheering the team from the stands and after close to five hours, her team finally managed to defeat one of the strongest teams of the competition.

Interestingly, her bio also reads, “that super over girl.” She has also shared some of the hilarious memes on her in her Insta stories. This is not the first time that the fan girls in the stadium have gone viral. Similar things have happened during the last two IPL seasons as well when the spectators were allowed to watch the matches.

As far as the match is concerned, the new Super Over rule allowed KXIP to make a comeback after defending five runs in the first attempt thanks to Mohammed Shami. On the second attempt, Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal made sure that they chased down 12 runs without much fuss off Trent Boult. Meanwhile, even after the match, the fans were busy looking for KXIP fan girl who has now gone viral on social media.
