The former England cricketer Graeme Swann has trolled Adam Gilchrist hilariously over his ‘satellite ears’ on social media. The duo is all set to heat up the commentary box during the Ashes series which commenced on Thursday in Brisbane at the Gabba. The war of words has already begun between the two sides in order to unsettle their rivals and even the former players too setting up their straps to take a dig at each other.

Gilchrist and Swann are known to be friends off the field and it seems that both are looking forward to doing commentary in the upcoming Ashes series. Both are backing their respective sides to do well as there is a possibility that both might engage in a banter during the match. However, prior to the game, Swann is winning the battle and has poked at the former Aussie legend ahead of the first Test.

Gilly’s satellite earplugs

Adam Gilchrist posted an image of him trying out the new earplugs on Twitter and captioned it as, “Time to get in on the #Ashes twitter war of words. Getting ready for my commentary stint with @Swannyg66 on @btsportcricket tomorrow.” He cheekily tagged Swann in the post only to be trolled by him in return. The former off-spinner left everyone in splits with his funny reply which read, “Just how many ear plugs can you fit in those satellite dishes…?”

This could be considered as only a friendly a banter between the two former players of their respective countries. But there will be no love lost between the players who actually took the field on Thursday as the Ashes battle resumed after a gap of two years.
