Just like most of the cricketers, AB de Villiers, the former South Africa cricketer, has been spending his time in quarantine due to the COVID-19 outbreak. On March 27, the African country started a lockdown across the nation for the next three weeks. Hence, the 36-year-old veteran is also busy spending time with Danielle de Villiers and their family.
Amidst their time at home, ABD tried to play a prank with his better-half. Danielle tried to record a video of his loved one while he was meditating. On Saturday, April 4, De Villiers performed a mediation drill by throwing the ball at the walls and then catching it.

Danielle tried to catch him, but De Villiers sensed it. Instead of throwing the ball at the walls, he threw it towards his wife. ABD then uploaded the adorable video on social media platform Instagram.
He captioned the video and wrote, “It was a slow start to this rainy Saturday morning! She thought she was gonna record my boring meditation routine without me knowing, but I had a surprise for her and then stole the video from her too.
Well, video creds @danielledevilliers , and I must admit, since I was a little boy this has been one of my favourite things to do, it wasn’t just a once off lockdown exercise, I can do this for hours,”

Over the last few months, there have been plenty of talks regarding De Villiers’ comeback to international cricket after he retired back in May 2018. Reports of his chance of making the T20 World Cup squad also did the rounds. However, there hasn’t anything concrete thus far.
The Pretoria-born was also set to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, that has been put to halt due to the coronavirus pandemic. The start of the T20 tournament was first postponed from March 29 to April 15.
But after the 21-day lockdown in India until April 14, the fate of the cash-rich and prestigious league hangs by a thread.
