It might be a little difficult for some of the followers of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to adjust their eyes to Harbhajan Singh clad in the yellow jersey instead of the usual blue one, but the ace spinner seems to have fit right into the mould of things in his new franchise. In a recent goofy video posted by Singh on Twitter, we find him introducing us to two of the super-talented player turned chefs of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad.

Chennai Super Kings have made a comeback into the IPL after a two-year-long hiatus and they’ve started off their journey with a bang by winning back to back matches against strong sides like the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Harbhajan Singh, after having played for the Mumbai side for 10 long years, has been drafted into the Chennai squad this time around.

Stephen Fleming and Faf du Plessis turn chefs

In a goofy video posted by Singh on Twitter, CSK coach, Stephen Fleming and one of their top batsman, Faf du Plessis are found cooking away to glory. As Singh introduces the onlookers to the two talented cricketing minds as the “new chefs in the house”, they’re revealed to be cooking ‘New Zealand Lamb Chops’. Singh ends the video on a funny note as he says that he wants to exchange bodies with the two of them.

Here’s the video Harbhajan Singh posted:

CSK made a resounding comeback into the tournament in the very opening game of IPL 2018, where they won against the Mumbai Indians by 1 wicket in a nail-biting encounter. Dwayne Bravo‘s dazzling knock worth 68 runs off just 30 balls stole the show for the CSK side.

In their second match against KKR, where they were put to a gruelling task of chasing a gargantuan total of 203 runs, CSK came through with a ball to spare. Sam Billings’ heroics that consisted of 56 runs off 23 balls helped CSK onto a thrilling victory, giving them the top spot in the points table with a healthy NRR of +0.254.
