Harbhajan Singh pours in good wishes for Virat, Anushka

Veteran Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has conveyed his good wishes for the newly-wed power couple of the celebrity world – Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Virat had stepped down from the isle of bachelorhood on December 11 this year when he married Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma in a highly secretive, yet lavish wedding in Italy.

Albeit the wedding was kept very secretive, the couple decided to let their wedding reception be grand affair. They hosted their wedding reception on December 21 at New Delhi. While many close relatives and the big names attended the celebration, the players of the Indian team and the B-town biggies were missing from the party.

The cricketers of team India had to give the reception a miss since they had two T20Is against Sri Lanka scheduled on either side days of the reception date. Hence, in order to ensure that the celebration does not leave out Kohli’s teammates, the couple hosted another wedding reception on December 26 at Mumbai for their industry friends.

The function was a hugely publicized affair with a plethora of celebrities lining up for the event. Some of the biggest names of the Bollywood industry and the players of the Indian cricket team were seen at the venue. Virat’s teammate and veteran cricketer Harbhajan Singh was no exception. Harbhajan was seen sporting a golden attire with a golden turban at the reception.

Soon after the reception, he took to micro blogging site Twitter to convey his good regards for the newly wed couple. Harbhajan, in his tweet, expressed that he had a lot of fun dancing at the party on the night. He wished a lot of happiness for the couple. Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh also sent out his warm regards for Virat and Anushka.
