Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to Twitter to show off his newly bought gadget, a waterproof acoustic speaker, which is giving him some delightful company in the island nation. The flamboyant stroke player posted a video in which he gave his fans a demo of the brilliant technological beast. Out of favor cricketer, Harbhajan Singh was highly impressed by the speaker and asked Kohli to send him one piece of the same. Singh shared Kohli’s tweet with the caption ‘Send me one’.
The main story:
Things were cool to this point, but Harbhajan Singh has been one of controversy’s favorite child. He once again found himself involved in a Twitter argument with a fan. Harbhajan who usually posts updates on the micro-blogging in Hindi, shifted from normalcy to post in English. A fan of his commented on the post shared by Harbhajan writing ‘Finally you posted in English”.
However, the remark did not go down well with the iconic off-spinner. Harbhajan lashed out at the concerned person terming him as an Englishman and asking his fans to see his face. He also asked the fan if he thinks speaking in Hindi is not classy and went on to say that the fan should be ashamed of himself.
While Singh expected his fans to support him in the case, his comments completely backfired against him. Fans around the country stood by the other fan who commented previously on the shared post. It turned out to be a friendly comment from the fan who claimed to be excited when Harbhajan posted in English, the reason behind the same being he is from Chennai and does not understand the Hindi language.
Fans slammed the cricketer on the comments below as they asked him to be polite. While some stated that they did not expect this from the cricketer, others asked him to be a bit matured in his answers. The fans seemed to be highly disappointed with Harbhajan Singh’s behavior and it will be exciting to see how Harbhajan comes up with a justification.
