Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul reveal their favourite captain

While famous chat show Koffee with Karan typically hosts Bollywood stars, it recently saw Indian cricket stars KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya gracing it with their presence. One of the most famous chat shows in the country hosted by famous director and producer Karan Johar, the show has always enthralled the viewers. And it would not be wrong to say that the episode featuring Rahul and Kohli lived up to its expectations.

From spilling beans on their teammates, their method to approach girls, speaking about teammates, the two cricketers did it all. When Karan asked the two about their crushes, Rahul immediately replied that Malaika Arora is his celebrity crush. He then went on to admit that his crush ended when the actress’ relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor became public. On the other hand, Pandya hilariously asked Karan to define what does the term crush mean.

The two then talked about their skipper Virat Kohli and termed him a workaholic. Rahul said that Kohli needs to calm down and needs to go on a holiday mode.  When Karan asked which Indian player should go for therapy, Rahul unhesitatingly replied, “I think Virat. He needs to calm down. I keep telling him, he’s just, he has never had a holiday mode. He’s always like ‘work, work, work’.”

Pandya, on the other hand, said that he would like to take fitness advice from Kohli. He also called Kohli the best prankster in the team while Rahul called his skipper the most romantic in the team.

MS Dhoni or Virat Kohli?

As the show progressed, the two cricketers were asked a tricky question – choose their favourite skipper. However, they did not find too many problems in answering it and went for MS Dhoni over Virat Kohli or any other captain.

“MS Dhoni because I made my debut and it was fantastic,” Pandya said.

Rahul, on the other hand, said: “In terms of achievement, yes MS Dhoni”.

Dhoni is India’s most decorated skipper in the history of the game. Till date, he is the only skipper to win all the ICC tournaments World T20, World Cup and the Champions Trophy.
