Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya recently tweeted a picture with his teammate Dinesh Karthik and mentioned him as a funny guy. Pandya is pretty active on social media, and he is well known for his glitzy lifestyle. He sports different hairdos with time and flashes his tattoos whenever the shutterbugs are in an alert mode. While many cricketers including Ashish Nehra had called Pandya a guy with humor, Pandya has passed the tag to Indian wicketkeeper Karthik.

Since making his debut in 2004, Karthik has made quite a number of comebacks to the Indian national side. If the latest developments are anything to go by, then the vibrant Tamil Nadu cricketer is very much in the scheme of things as India prepares for the 2019 world cup.

Karthik for No.4

Even though many young prospects available in the domestic circuit, the management has gone with Karthik as an option for the No.4 position. “Maybe it is (the last of comebacks) but I have not looked at it that way,” Karthik told TOI, after making his latest comeback against New Zealand.

“If you start thinking on those lines (future in the team), you put extra pressure on yourself. I am satisfied with the way I batted in ODI series against New Zealand and would aim to do the same whenever I get the next opportunity.” he said.

Pandya is currently cooling off his heels after getting the desired break from the BCCI. He is not participating in the ongoing Test series against Sri Lanka, but looks certain to play the limited-overs series against the same oppositions in the coming time. He along with other members of the Indian team- Yuzvendra Chahal, Kedar Jadhav are sweating it out in the fitness sessions, along with Karthik.

Let’s take a look at the tweet posted by Pandya:
