Imran Khan has been elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan in the recent general elections. He is the first cricketer ever to be crowned at the helm and the people of the country are hoping now that he works towards a ‘Naya Pakistan’ which he promised to them in the lead up to the elections. He has also expressed his desire to improve the relations with India. However, Harsh Goenka has predicted for a hilarious series to begin now between India and Pakistan in his latest tweet.

Goenka is the Chairman of RPG Enterprises but was in the limelight for all the wrong reasons last year. He was one of the co-owners of the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant franchise and received the backlash of all the Indian fans for removing MS Dhoni from the captaincy ahead of the IPL 2017.

There was more outrage when he called the newly appointed captain Steve Smith as the ‘King of the Jungle’ after he played a match-winning knock of 84 runs against Mumbai Indians (MI) in their first match of the season. He also wittily criticised Dhoni during the course of the tournament for his slow knocks and no wonder he became the ‘villain’ for his fans who came back to troll him after the veteran played scintillating innings later in the competition.

All the eyes will be on Imran Khan now as he has clearly said that he will work on the Kashmir issue by talking peacefully with India and also hoped for the resumption of the bilateral ties between the two countries in cricket. Imran is a firm believer that the sport will help the strained relations improve.

Harsh Goenka found a perfect timing to post an image depicting Imran Khan as the bowler and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the batsman. He also predicted for a new series to start between the two countries now and the Twitterati is left drooling over the same.
